  • How do I cancel my membership or trial?
    1. Log in above with your username and password.  If you have forgotten your username or password, click here to have them emailed to you.
    2. Click 'Manage My Account' in the top right corner
    3. Click 'Cancel My Subscription' at the bottom of the page.
  • I cannot get the 2nd and 3rd hour of the podcast!

There is a setting in your iTunes Player that you need to adjust.  Here is what you need to do:

    1. Click on Edit in iTunes and then Preferences.  Then go to Podcasts and where it says "When new episodes are available" make sure you've selected "Download all."
    2. The two other hours (each program is 38 minutes without the commercials) should be below the 1st hour in your podcast directory. Make sure the arrow next to the "Dave Ramsey Show" podcast title is pointing down, and you should be able to see all three hours.
  • I have my username and password but it still will not let me login!

Are you an FPU Member Resource Center subscriber?  If so you need to sign in here.

  • Who is Dave Ramsey?

Clickhere to learn more about Dave Ramsey and his story.

  • How much does it cost to be a member?

My Total Money Makeover offers two membership plans. A monthly plan costs just $9.95 and grants you 100% access to the site.

A yearly plan is $89.95 and grants you 100% access to the site.

To learn more about our membership plans, clickhere.

  • Why do you charge?
First, our products are an investment that is going to positively impact you and your family for years to come. Think of it this way: achieving financial peace is like starting a new business. In the beginning, an investment is required (like a subscription to the TMMO website, purchasing a Financial Peace University course, or paying for counseling). You have to make an investment up front, but the returns will be immeasurable!

We also feel that our products and services are valuable. If we offer them for free, it diminishes their value and people will be less apt to stick with the programs and principles. However, if it is something people have invested in, they usually feel more ownership of it and will be less likely to drop out of the financial plans they outlined.

Secondly, our company is a for-profit balance of business and ministry with many employees to support. We could not survive in our goal to change lives if we did not charge for our services.

Thirdly, we believe in our products, in Dave and his philosophies, and our company. Therefore, as a business, as with any business, we have to charge for our services so we can continue running a business that we and millions of others believe in.

  • Why do you ask for billing information for a free trial?
There are two reasons we ask for your billing information:

    1. We ask for your billing information to ensure we have your correct debit card number and expiration date for OUR security purposes.

    2. A high percentage of people who sign up for the free trial choose to become members of My Total Money Makeover.

  • Why don't you accept credit cards?
Dave has a very firm and steadfast stance about credit cards: we don't accept them and no one should have them! Because Dave is completely against consumers having credit cards or using them for anything at any time, our company certainly does not take them.

We can accept payment via debit card or money order. If subscribing on the Internet makes you nervous or if you need further information, then call us toll-free at 888-227-3223 ext 190.

  • Is it safe for my payment information to go through your site?
Yes. We use cutting-edge, top-of-the-line encryption software to prevent your information from being compromised. As a comparison, our method is even more secure than giving your debit card to a waiter at a restaurant.

  • Why do you automatically renew memberships?
Our practice of automatically renewing subscribers is the industry standard for subscription-based websites. Be assured that we do not do it to squeeze money out of people who are trying to get out of debt. We have found that the vast majority of customers prefer this method rather than having their service interrupted by closing their account.

MyTMMO members receive the Gazelle Gazette (our members-only eNewsletter) twice a month, which includes a reminder of their membership. Renewal date and billing amount are also listed in each member's account profile, which can be accessed by logging in and going to "Manage My Account."

With this information readily accessible, we are confident that automatic renewal is the best way to serve our customers.

  • What is the difference in MyTMMO and FPU?
MyTMMO is unique because it is an online community that allows you to also download The Dave Ramsey Show, create a personal budget and follow your customized plan for financial freedom. Financial Peace University is a 13-week class that educates you on various money topics in a group setting. MyTMMO is designed to help you accomplish Dave's Baby Steps on your own time while providing you with highly-effective tools to keep you motivated. Both MyTMMO and FPU are extremely helpful and most of our members find that these products are the perfect companions.

  • Will my personal information be kept confidential?
You can learn more by reviewing our Privacy Policy. MyTMMO will never release any of your personal information. Everything you enter in your budget, debt snowball or any other portion of the site will remain strictly confidential and will only be seen by people you allow to review it. MyTMMO will never ask for your password. MyTMMO will also keep your email address safe, never selling it or releasing it to third parties.

  • What is the purpose of a username?
A username is much like a screen name or a code name. It must consist of at least six characters, and no two users can have the same username. This is the name that appears to all other users on the site as well as when you post in the forums and the chat room. Once you have chosen a username, it CANNOT be changed. It is written in stone, so choose carefully!

  • What kind of software do I need?
All you need in order to access My Total Money Makeover is the Internet and a browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. You can access your account from any computer that is connected to the Internet.

You may need some additional software to listen to audio files if your computer does not come with a default player. If that is the case, you will be prompted to download the files you need at no additional charge to you.
